Junior high is a big deal. New school. New friends. New challenges. It can feel exciting… and overwhelming at the same time. That’s why Salt and Light Junior High is here.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:13–16 that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. That means even in middle school, you matter. You can make a difference. You can bring hope, kindness, truth, and courage wherever you go — in your school, on your team, online, and at home.

At Salt and Light Junior High, we create a safe place where you can be yourself, ask real questions, and grow in your faith without feeling judged. We talk about real-life stuff — friendships, pressure, social media, stress, and what it really means to follow Jesus when it’s not always easy.

We believe the Bible isn’t boring or outdated. It’s God’s Word, and it speaks directly into your everyday life. We help you understand what it says and how to actually live it out — not just on Sundays, but on Mondays at school too.

This isn’t just a youth group. It’s a team. It’s a family. We hang out, laugh a lot, play games, serve others, and build friendships that last. Through small groups, fun events, and serving projects, you’ll find people who have your back and leaders who care about you.

We also believe your faith isn’t meant to stay inside four walls. Jesus calls us to shine. That means showing kindness to someone sitting alone, standing up for what’s right, helping in our community, and sharing hope with people who need it.

You don’t have to wait until you’re older to do something important for God. Right now — in junior high — you have gifts, talents, and purpose. We want to help you discover what those are and use them boldly.
