You’re making decisions that shape your future — friendships, relationships, character, direction, career paths, college choices, and who you’re becoming. The questions get bigger. The pressures get heavier. The stakes feel higher.

Salt and Light Senior High exists to walk with you through this season — not just to help you survive high school, but to prepare you to step confidently into adulthood with a faith that is real, tested, and your own.

In Matthew 5:13–16, Jesus calls us the salt of the earth and the light of the world. That’s not just a nice phrase. It’s a calling. Salt preserves. Light exposes darkness. As a senior high student, you are stepping into leadership whether you realize it or not — in your school, on your team, at your job, and in your family. The question isn’t whether you influence others. The question is how.

Our mission is to help you build a faith that stands when life gets complicated. We believe the Bible is not just a book of rules, but God’s Word — truth that anchors you when culture shifts and opinions change. We don’t avoid hard questions. We wrestle with them. We talk about doubt, purpose, identity, relationships, mental health, calling, and what it actually looks like to follow Christ in a world that often pushes the other way.

This is a place where you can ask real questions and have real conversations.

Senior High ministry is more than a weekly gathering. It’s a community of students committed to growing together. Through small groups, leadership opportunities, service projects, retreats, and outreach events, we create space for deep friendships and spiritual growth. You won’t just attend — you’ll be challenged to lead.

Because faith isn’t meant to stay comfortable.

Outreach is central to who we are. Jesus calls us to shine so others can see Him. That means living with integrity when no one is watching. It means serving the community. It means being bold enough to stand for truth with grace. It means stepping into conversations about faith instead of shrinking back.

Every student has God-given gifts and purpose. Our goal is to help you discover those gifts, develop them, and use them — whether that’s leading worship, mentoring younger students, serving locally, sharing your testimony, or preparing for future ministry, career, or mission work.
