Good Friday Tenebrae Service
March 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A Tenebrae service is a special event happening at Faith Church on Good Friday at 7pm. It’s a time where we remember Jesus and what happened to him on the day he was crucified. Tenebrae means “shadows” or “darkness” in Latin. During the service, we’ll hear stories from the Bible about what happened to Jesus, sing songs, and say prayers. The lights will gradually get dimmer, reminding us of the darkness that fell when Jesus died. It’s a quiet and serious time for us to think about why Jesus’s death is important to our faith.
