Prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to communicate with God, express our gratitude, and seek His guidance and support in our daily lives. Through prayer, we can receive forgiveness and salvation as we acknowledge our shortcomings and ask for God's mercy and grace. It is a way to connect with the divine, to express our deepest fears and hopes, and to find peace and comfort in His presence.

One of the greatest benefits of prayer is that it allows us to receive help from God in times of need. Whether we are facing a difficult situation, a challenging decision, or a personal struggle, prayer can provide us with the strength and courage we need to overcome our obstacles. By submitting prayer requests, we can also ask others to pray for us, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers. As the Bible reminds us, "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16).

We can take comfort in knowing that God listens to our prayers and cares about our needs. He promises to be with us always, to guide us and protect us, and to provide for us in all circumstances. As we open our hearts to Him in prayer, we can experience His love and grace in our lives, and find the strength and peace we need to face whatever challenges come our way.

As we pray we can also receive His help in time of need. (See opportunity to submit prayer requests below.) God does hear and answer prayer. Jeremiah 29:12 says, ''you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." The psalmist wrote: "a broken and contrite heart, 0 God, you will not despise." Psalm 51:17

Our church places a high priority on prayer. We are committed to prayer. we believe prayer changes things, most of all us. As we pray, we are in direct connection with the Creator of the Universe. As we commit ourselves to prayer, God is conforming us to the image of His Son.

Father in Heaven,
I know that I am a sinner and need forgiveness.
I believe that Your Son Jesus died in my place to MAKE ATONEMENT for my sin and rose again for my salvation.
I want to turn from my sinful ways, so I now ask You, Lord Jesus, to come into my life as my Savior and my Lord.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
