Easter Weekend 2024
Hello Terre Haute and surrounding area. We have several services for the Easter Weekend this year to better accommodate your needs to celebrate Easter This year.
We start off the Easter Weekend with our moving Good Friday Tenebrae Service that starts at 7:00 pm Friday March 29th. It's a time where we remember Jesus and what happened to him on the day he was crucified. Tenebrae means "shadows" or "darkness" in Latin. During the service, we'll hear stories from the Bible about what happened to Jesus, sing songs, and say prayers. The lights will gradually get dimmer, reminding us of the darkness that fell when Jesus died. It's a quiet and serious time for us to think about why Jesus's death is important to our faith.
On Saturday March 30th we continue the Easter Weekend with our 180 Worship that happens at 5:00 pm we will have a special Easter Performance from our Children's group that is sure to be moving and joyful.
On Sunday March 31st we have two (2) services to make sure you are able to join us the first at 9:00 am and the second at 11:00 am. Each worship service starts with uplifting and moving worship music led by our worship ministry team. It is followed by a moving and heartfelt message from our lead Pastor Steve Sanchez. If you're looking for a message you can absorb, and apply in your daily life then you don't want to miss any of these times of worship this Easter Weekend.
