Welcome to Salt and Light Teens: Shining God's Love in a Dark World
At Salt and Light Teens, our mission is simple: to help teenagers and pre-teens grow in their faith and live out the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13–16, to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We believe every young person is called to make a difference by bringing flavor, hope, and truth to a world that desperately needs it.
Our ministry provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging place where teens can connect with God and with one another. Through meaningful teaching, interactive programs, and real-world experiences, we equip students with the tools they need to live boldly for Christ and influence the world around them.
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the foundation for our faith and choices. Our goal is to help teens understand Scripture deeply and see how it applies to their everyday lives, whether at school, at home, or in their community.
We also know the teen years can be challenging. That is why Salt and Light Teens is more than just a youth group. It is a family. Through weekly gatherings, service projects, small groups, and fun social events, we build lasting friendships and a strong support system rooted in faith.
Outreach is at the heart of who we are. Jesus calls us to shine our light so that others may see and glorify God. Through community projects, evangelistic events, and acts of service, we put our faith into action and share the hope of the gospel with those around us.
Every teenager has a God-given purpose and unique gifts. At Salt and Light Teens, we encourage students to discover and use those gifts, whether by leading in ministry, serving others, or sharing their faith, to make an impact on their world for Christ.
